I have set things up according to the instructions and find that when users click on the verification link in the registration mail, they are not verified immediately, but stay in the "Unverified" state.

I also tested a new registration and manually verified the account, but still could not login. I really like this plugin as it is possible to configure the messages, but if it does not work correctly, then I will need to find another solution.

Any help with this will be really appreciated.

Thanks

Do you have any plans to make this work with buddypress - I desperately need some sort of user moderation / admin verification process.

Thanks,

Hello,

Awesome plugin,

But I'm using wordpress 3.3. The bugs i've found...

The custom fields are not returning the values inputted on the form registration form... The values in the profile section just say 'Array'

Also when I set up all my settings in 'Pie Register' - and then go to 'E-mail Notification', when I activate the email notification, and then go back to 'Pie Register' section, all my custom fields have disappeared.

I can't seem to activate 'Required Profile Fields' for names, they un-tick themselves when changes are saved.

Are looking to get this working with 3.3.1 soon?

I'm going to downgrade to 3.2.1 for now and hope it works better.

Thanks

Great plugin, but there are conflicts with mingle?
This is the message:
"You have another plugin installed that is conflicting with Pie Register. This other plugin is overriding the user notification emails. Please see Pie Register Conflicts for more information".

And it don't send verification link!

Hi,
can only repeat the other comments, using V1.28. and WP 3.3.1
very nice plugin, but severe problems:
- password-meter not working while typing
- Text Input will be displayed as "Array" in the backend
- required profile fields are resetting to zero
- error messages on registration page when entering wrong/missing info

like this it's really crap - please inform me when the problems are solved
Roland

Hello,

thank you very much for your plug-in, it is great. Actually I have two problems:
1) I added two custom fields and checked "add profile field"; so I find these custom field also in user profiles...but they don't report the text the user inserted, there is instead a stati text: "Array" (data that user inserted are correctly reported in email notification).
2) every now and then the system halt sending email notification..I cannot debug it, it seems it is random

Thank you for your support,
Deodato

Hey there,

We are having an issue with multiple "invitation codes" not working. We have the latest version of WP and Pie Register but we only see a single text area for a single code with no minus or plus buttons rendered to add multiple codes.

Is this a known bug and is there maybe a syntax we can follow to add multiple codes to the text area (I tried comma separated & new line separated) or can you shed any light on the area that might be effected by this bug so we can modify the plugins code for this feature to work?

Love this plugin and really appreciate you time btw..

Thanks,

Bobby

Is this a known bug and is there maybe a syntax we can follow to add multiple codes to the text area (I tried comma separated & new line separated) or can you shed any light on the area that might be effected by this bug so we can modify the plugins code for this feature to work?

Love this plugin and really appreciate you time btw..

Thanks,

Bobby

Download 1.2.8 (beta) as I needed the mobilenumber field on the registration form. Wow, it was there, but when I take a look at the users table the mobilenumber is blank.

What have I done wrong?

Hi
great plugin

question: once the registration is complete, the user is still asked to log in. is there a way to have it redirect to a page on registration?
i do have the redirect setup, but it does still require a 2nd log in.
the redirect url appears in the notification email

Hi,
I've got a problem:
I can't make the profile fields First Name and Last Name required. I only manage to make my custom fields required.
I am using version 1.2.8 beta.

BTW Is there an easy way to see the extra fields in the user profile? Now I access the database directly, outside WordPress.

Here's the quick fix for this bug,

Open up Pie-Register.php in a texteditor scroll down to the function "Add2Profile()" inside this function scroll about 15 lines down you will see the following code:
$value = get_user_meta( $user_ID, $id);
replace the above code with the following code:
$value = get_user_meta( $user_ID, $id, true );

Thank You

When a new user registers and submits a phone number, the phone number does not display in the user's account or the admin's Members pages. However, the phone number is saved in the wp_usermeta table If the user goes to their My Details page and fills in the phone number it then displays in both admin Members pages and the user's account.

When a new user initially registers, the phone number is saved in the wp_usermeta 'phone' column. If that user goes to My Details and inputs a phone number I see it saved in the jabber column.

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this issue but I thought I would make a complete description in case it is helpful.

Note: I am using a complex theme, Shopperpress, so perhaps that may be part of my problem.

Pie-registration is a great plugin, I do understand that it is still in beta. Thank you for your efforts on this project.

Thanks for this Paul, it fixed it for me too. Seems to be a typo in this line, with an extra double quote:
$rpg=str_replace(“””,”‘”,$rpg);  change to --> $rpg=str_replace(“”,”‘”,$rpg);

In my pie-register.php version 1.2.8 the function disable_magic_quotes_gpc starts on line 401.

been playing with the user defined fields, but for some reason when a user fills them in and logs in the fields just say "Array" in the profile page. I have looked in the MySQL database for these extra fields but can't find them.

I guess it's similar to what Cybek has put, but not being a coder in any form i can't decipher what is wrong. Any ideas?

Thanks

I am very new to Wordpress and want a registration page for my site I am creating. I downloaded and installed pie register no problems and I have all of the options screen etc, but how do I get it to appear on my page?? Should I not have a widget? Or am I just not doing it right? I can't seem to find any troubleshooting documentation anywhere. I am using wp v3.2.1.

Also note, that if anyone is copying this code it's not valid from copy+paste as this site uses the curly double quotes, copy it into notepad first, then copy it from there to wordpress (not that I recommend changing the code if you dont know what you're donig anyway).

I found some issues with version 1.2.8 on WP 3.2.1 where I was getting a Stripslashes() error as it was getting an array for the $rpg element. I modified the code at line 208 for pie-register.php and it works now when setting specific fields = required. Here's the code I created, this is the entire function for "disable_magic_quotes_gpc":

function disable_magic_quotes_gpc($rpg){
			if (TRUE == function_exists('get_magic_quotes_gpc') && 1 == get_magic_quotes_gpc()){
				$mqs = strtolower(ini_get('magic_quotes_sybase'));

				if (TRUE == empty($mqs) || 'off' == $mqs){
					// we need to do stripslashes on $_GET, $_POST and $_COOKIE
					if (is_array($rpg)) {
						foreach ($rpg as $key => $value) {
						$rpg[$key] = str_replace("", "\n", $value);
						$rpg[$key] = str_replace("", "\n", $value);
						$rpg[$key] = str_replace("'", "'", $value);

						if (@get_magic_quotes_gpc()) {
                        $rpg[$key] = stripslashes($value);
						}
					}
					}
					else{
					$rpg=stripslashes($rpg);
					}
				}
				else{
					// we need to do str_replace("''", "'", ...) on $_GET, $_POST, $_COOKIE
					$rpg=str_replace("''","'",$rpg);
				}
			}
			return $rpg;
		}

I tried to make the registration fields (first name, last name, and phone) required on my registration form. After I submitted the an attempted registration I received the following warnings on the redirect page:
"Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in ../wp-content/plugins/pie-register/pie-register.php on line 810"

" "../wp-content/plugins/pie-register/pie-register.php on line 815
" "../wp-content/plugins/pie-register/pie-register.php on line 820
" "../wp-content/plugins/pie-register/pie-register.php on line 840
and finally,
"Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by ../wp-content/plugins/pie-register/pie-register.php:810) in ../wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 934"

I looked at the pie-register.php file and found that the lines correspond to the fields that I had placed in the registration form, however even though I intentionally left out the first name during this test of the form I still received an email with an account verification link to activate the account. When I disable requiring fields on the registration form it works fine. Do you have any suggestions that will help me require registration fields successfully? I am using wordpress 3.2.1
Thanks

Hello,
First, please forgive the rough translation (I'm french).

The air had plugins to correspond in every respect to what we needed. After multiple testing, it seems that it is completely incompatible with Buge or WP version 3.2.1. It is totally unusable because it loses its configuration constantly.
A correction is expected it quickly?

Thank you.
